What We Offer

  • 24 days rising to 26 days maximum (1 day extra is added on to the following year after each completed year of service for the first two years completed).

    The HSC office is closed on the three working days between Christmas and New Year and staff do not have to use any Annual Leave during this period.

  • It’s a 10% non-contributory pension and starts after 3 months.

    ** Please note that all Medical Insurance claims have a £200 excess, this you will receive in an invoice sent to your home address. Once received please give this to the office manager and The Henry Smith Charity will pay this excess.

  • Income Protection provides a financial benefit and rehabilitation support if an employee is unable to work because of long-term illness or injury, available after probationary period.

  • HSC will pay for your eye test every other year and pay £100 towards new prescribed spectacles.

  • Staff are eligible to 3 days paid leave per year to undertake volunteering activities with a charity or voluntary organisation.

  • Repayable over 10 months from monthly salary, available after probationary period.
